Welcome, my name is Sami Lee and this is a blog of my year 12 musical journey. This blog was originally created for my Outcome 1 of Unit 4 Investigation, 2015, but I will be using it for the next semester or until I no longer need it.
A little about myself, I'm a musician (duh), I've been playing drums for five years, guitar, bass and vocals for three or four, and a range of others for a short while, like mandolin and violin. I love arts subjects, I do drama, visual art and literature aswell as VCE music (I'm in year 11), and I love painting and drawing. Painting especially. I wish to study music when I leave school, after perhaps taking a gap year when I finish year 12 next year.
I'm majoring in drums, so this blog will go very in depth on drums and percussion.
My focus area is: Rhythmic and percussion techniques used in modern alternative rock, 2000-present.
